Use & Application
Trimethylolpropane is an important polyol monomer for synthesis of alkyd resin, polyurethane resin, polyester resin and polyether polyol. It can improve coating hardness, gloss, weather resistance and adhesive performance. It is also used for producing synthetic lubricants, plasticizers, crosslinking agents and reactive monomers for radiation curing materials.
