Application of n-Propyl acetate CAS 109-60-4

It is widely used as an excellent solvent for paints, inks, nitrocellulose lacquers, varnishes and all kinds of resins, and is also applied to the flavor and fragrance industry. GB 2760-1996 is the permitted edible flavor. Mainly used for the preparation of pear, honey, banana, apple, alcoholic beverages and currants and other flavor, also used as fruit type spices solvent.

This product is a mild and quick drying agent for flexographic printing ink and gravure printing ink, especially for olefin reducing and polyamide film printing. It is also used as solvent for nitrocellulose, chlorinated rubber and thermal reactive phenolic plastics. Propyl acetate has a slight fruit flavor. After dilution, it has pear like aroma. Natural products exist in bananas, tomatoes, Fupenzi, etc. GB2760-86 is a kind of edible spice permitted in China. It is mainly used for the preparation of flavors such as pear and gooseberry, and is also used as a solvent for fruit flavoring.
