Use & Application
Industrial grade mixed cresol is mainly used for phenolic resin, insulating varnish, wire enamel and lubricant additive production. It acts as monomer for modified phenolic resin, improving resin heat resistance and mechanical strength. It can also be used as mineral flotation agent, solvent for magnetic paint, and raw material for phosphate ester plasticizer. It is widely adopted in coal chemical and general fine chemical manufacturing with cost-effective performance.Refined grade mixed cresol is applied for disinfectant formulation, dye intermediate and high-end phenolic derivative synthesis. It has strong bactericidal activity, commonly formulated into disinfectant and preservative for industrial and environmental sterilization. Low phenol impurity makes it suitable for producing high purity cresol derivatives, agrochemical intermediates and surfactant raw materials with strict impurity requirements.
