Comprestin disodium phosphate is abbreviated as CA4P. It is a vascular-targeted anti-cancer drug. Its mechanism of action is to cause rapid interruption of tumor blood supply and cause tumor death due to insufficient oxygen supply and nutrient starvation. CA4P has the effect of treating tumors. The mechanism is different from general cytotoxic chemotherapeutics, and it is also different from drugs that inhibit the development of new blood vessels. It specifically destroys and disintegrates immature endothelial cells that newly form blood vessels during tumor growth. The cells have no effect.
