Properties of Manganese carbonate 44% MnCO3
Rose colored triangular crystal or amorphous bright white brown powder. The relative density is 3.125. Almost insoluble in water, slightly soluble in water containing carbon dioxide. Dissolved in dilute inorganic acids, slightly soluble in ordinary organic acids, insoluble in alcohols and liquid ammonia. Stable in dry air. When wet, it is prone to oxidation, forming manganese trioxide which gradually turns brown black and decomposes upon heating, releasing carbon dioxide.

Application of Manganese carbonate 44% MnCO3
Raw materials for producing soft magnetic ferrite for telecommunications equipment. Industrial manganese carbonate is widely used as a catalyst for desulfurization, a drying agent for varnish, and a raw material for manufacturing other manganese salts. It is also used in pharmaceuticals, mechanical parts, and phosphating treatment. Agriculture is used as a fertilizer for trace elements.
