Ethylene Glycol Monoethyl Ether (EGEE) is a member of ethylene‑based glycol ether family, produced by ethoxylation of ethanol with ethylene oxide. It is clear, colourless liquid with faint odour, completely miscible with water, alcohols, ketones and most organic solvents. It exhibits powerful dissolving capacity for nitro‑cellulose, acrylic, alkyd and many synthetic resins。
