Properties of Trifluoromethanesulfonamide CAS 421-85-2

Add 172g of 98% CF3SO2Cl (1mol) and 500mL of anhydrous acetonitrile after effluent treatment into a closed reactor equipped with a thermometer, agitator, and nitrogen deoxygenation. Keep the reaction temperature at -5~0℃, and pass it into the reactor for drying. The reaction temperature is gradually increased to room temperature under stirring, and the reaction is completed after 3 hours of reaction. The by-product ammonium chloride in the reaction solution was filtered off, the solvent in the filtrate was distilled off under reduced pressure, and the crude product of trifluoromethanesulfonamide was obtained by drying under reduced pressure at 50°C. The yield was not less than 96%. .

Application of Trifluoromethanesulfonamide CAS 421-85-2

Trifluoromethanesulfonamide is an organic intermediate, which can be prepared by reacting trifluoromethanesulfonyl chloride with ammonia gas. Trifluoromethanesulfonyl can be used to prepare LiTFSI. LiTFSI is an organic electrolyte additive for lithium batteries with excellent performance. Due to the special chemical structure of the anion part (CF3SO2)2N-, it has higher electrochemical stability and conductivity of Chemicalbook ; Compared with LiClO4 and LiPF6, LiTFSI as an electrolyte additive has: 1) Improve the SEI film of the positive and negative electrodes; 2) Stabilize the interface between the positive and negative electrodes; 3) Inhibit gas generation; 4) Improve cycle performance; 5) Improve high temperature stability 6) Improve storage performance and other advantages.
