Use & Application
Lubricant grade molybdenum disulfide is widely added into grease, lubricating oil and anti-friction coatings. It effectively reduces friction and wear for heavy-load mechanical bearings, gears and metal parts, maintaining lubrication under high temperature, high pressure and low speed working conditions. It is popular for mining equipment, construction machinery and automotive chassis lubrication.
Super fine grade molybdenum disulfide serves as functional filler for nylon, PTFE and other engineering plastics. It improves wear resistance, self-lubricating property and compression strength of polymer composites. It is also applied in friction materials such as brake pads and clutch plates, realizing anti-friction at low temperature and stable friction at high temperature.
Nano grade molybdenum disulfide is adopted for advanced dry film lubricant in aerospace and vacuum equipment. It can also be used as catalyst for petroleum hydrodesulfurization, electrode material for lithium batteries and raw material for 2D semiconductor optoelectronic devices.
