Main Functions & Recommended Applications
Road & Environment: Anti‑icing / de‑icing agent, dust‑suppression agent for roads and mining sites.
Food Industry: Food additive E511, coagulating agent for tofu and soybean‑based food products (food grade required).
Feed Industry: Magnesium nutrition supplement for animal feed premix.
Building Material: Raw material for magnesium cement, fire‑proof board production.
Water‑treatment & Chemical: Magnesium source for waste‑water treatment; starting raw material for manufacturing magnesium oxide and other magnesium chemicals.
Biochemical & Pharma: Raw material for buffer solution, pharmaceutical excipient (pharmacopoeia grade required).
Important note:
Magnesium chloride hexahydrate is highly deliquescent. Exposure to humid atmosphere causes caking. When mixed with strong alkali, magnesium hydroxide precipitate will form. End‑user shall validate suitability for own formulation and final application. Refer to SDS for full safety guidance.
