English name: Aluminum acetylacetonate
Molecular formula: (CH3COCHCOCH3)3AL
CAS NO.:13963-57-0
Characteristics
Appearance: White crystalline powder
Purity: 99.9%
Aluminum content: 8.3±0.1%
Melting point: 191-194°C
Soluble in benzene, toluene, xylene, and methanol, insoluble in water.
Application
Primarily used as a curing promoter for epoxy resins and a crosslinking agent for phenolic, silicone, and acrylic resins. It significantly enhances adhesion in inks such as white ink and transparent ink without causing color darkening. Aluminum acetylacetonate forms chelation with phenolic antioxidants in the substrate, ink, and coating binding system, improving the adhesion performance of electron adhesives during application.
Usage Method
If the substrate does not contain -OH, -COOH, -NH2, etc., it must be pre-treated. Resins such as PA, NC, PU, PVB, CAB, CAP, and EVA can be used directly.
Recommended Dosage
The crosslinking agent dosage for acrylic ester-based pressure-sensitive adhesives (solvent type) is approximately one-thousandth. Specific adjustments for summer/winter usage should be made based on the effect.
