Solid lubricants (primary): High temperature, high pressure, high vacuum, and heavy-duty working conditions; added to lubricating greases, lubricating oils, plastics (PTFE, nylon), used in machinery, automobiles, aviation; metal forging release agents.
Petrochemical Catalysts: Hydrodesulfurization Catalysts.
Two-dimensional functional materials: lithium batteries, supercapacitors, semiconductors, optoelectronic devices (nanoscale/monolayer MoS₂).

Storage
