Basic Information
Ammonium polyphosphate (APP‑II) is an inorganic halogen‑free intumescent flame retardant. It is long‑chain poly‑ammonium phosphate. Phase‑II grade features high polymerization degree, low water‑solubility and excellent thermal stability. It releases phosphorus‑nitrogen synergistic flame‑retardant effect during combustion, forms dense carbon‑foam layer to isolate oxygen & heat. Widely applied in plastics, coatings, rubber and composite materials。
