Main uses
Polymerization inhibitor: High temperature polymerization inhibitor for ethylene based monomers such as styrene, acrylic acid ester, and methyl acrylic acid ester to prevent monomer self polymerization, added during storage and transportation.
Photography industry: black and white film, photo paper developer.
Dye intermediates: synthesis of anthraquinone dyes, azo dyes, and fragrance intermediates.
Rubber additives: rubber anti-aging agents, antioxidants.
Water treatment: Boiler water deoxidizer removes dissolved oxygen from water.
Analytical reagents are also used for synthesizing pharmaceutical and pesticide raw materials.
