Docusate Sodium is an anionic surfactant, also known as dioctyl sodium sulfosuccinate. It is supplied as waxy solid or 70 % solution. It features excellent wetting, penetrating, emulsifying and dispersing performance. Widely used in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, textile, coating, agricultural and mining industries. Pharma grade acts as stool softener excipient; industrial grade serves as high‑efficiency wetting agent.
