Tranexamic Acid is a white crystalline powder antifibrinolytic active pharmaceutical ingredient. It is easily soluble in water, practically insoluble in ethanol and acetone. Mainly used as hemostatic API for pharmaceutical preparations, also applied in cosmetic formulations for skin‑brightening purposes.
