DTPA-FeNa, also called Diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid ferric sodium complex, is a chelate which protects nutrients against precipitation in a moderate pH-range (pH 4 - 7) similar to EDTA, but its stability is higher than EDTA’s. Mainly used for nourishing plants in fertigation systems, and as an ingredient for NPKs. DTPA chelates will not injure leaf tissue, contrarily it is ideal for foliar spraying to nourish the plant.
DTPA-Fe chelates, which are ammonium-free and sodium-free, are available in both liquid and solid forms. DTPA-FeNa exists in yellow brown powder. It is a stable water chelate Fe in chelating state which is mainly used in agriculture, horticulture and chemicals.
